Tropical Sweet Potato Smoothie

A healthy smoothie that is filling and appetizing. A great way to start the day.

Servings 2 people


  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 1/3 cup red papaya
  • 1/3 cup cooked sweet potato (flesh only)
  • 3 oranges, peeled and cut into quarters


  • Put all ingredients in high speed blender
  • Combine until mixed or use smoothie setting if blender has this
  • Serve immediately


Note: Can use standard, filtered water if preferred
I removed the skin of the sweet potato but for extra fibre, keep this on
I used purple sweet potatoes but orange could also be used
